MEET THE TEAM
Founder & CEO
Ryan Carroll is a Sayville, New York local and the CEO and Founder. He lost his job as a chef in NYC due the closures of restaurants from Covid-19. Instead of staying home and quarantining he decided to assemble a team of over thirty of the best hospitality workers to help people across Long Island in a safe and organized manner.
Director of Operations/Pastry Chef
Alex is a fellow @theculinaryinstituteofamerica alumni and a fellow Sayville grad. At her first project at Carroll's Kitchen she helped make 1300 cookies to feed children across Long Island. Alex also sells desserts with her company @morebymurray !
Director of Public Relations
Marty serves as a deacon at St Francis de Sales in Patchogue. He has been ordained for 40 years and has served the Patchogue area in many ways. Besides being on the board for Carroll's Kitchen, he also is a board member of HALO Missions and the St. Joseph Prayer Center in Patchogue. He is also the chaplain of The Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 5. Deacon Marty retired from Criminal Justice work with Suffolk County in 2008.
Director of Finances
Lindsay recently graduated from St. Johns with a Masters Degree in finance and a 3.9 GPA. Lindsay has been here since day 1 and has been a core team member since the beginning. Lindsay has also been to almost every single charity event since March helping out packaging and delivering food to people in need.
Director of Development
Ed is an entrepreneur in the Mental Health and Human services arenas for 30+ years. Trauma Specialist, psychotherapist, teacher, advocate and program and community development, he has guided us tremendously in helping others!
Director of Digital Media
Alec is a sayville local in charge of creating content for Carroll's Kitchen through graphics, photos, and videos which are distributed through social media. He has a vast background in curating media for both personal and professional projects.
DIRECTOR OF CHARITY OPERATIONS
James has 10 years in the restaurant industry being a Chef with JTS, and a Grillman at OPA Greek and Mediterranean Cuisine. He also had his own Construction business and worked with the team at “Extreme Makeover Home Edition”. He appeared on the show 7 times- building and remodeling homes to change lives. He's worked with The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and ALS Hope Foundation. Now in this role he finds innovative and fun ways to give back to the community.
Head of Website design
Sarah is a web designer and musician; the Owner+Founder of Simple Sweet Sites, Inc. and Co-Owner+Founder of Island Exclusive Entertainment, Inc. Combined with a bachelor's degree in Business, she has turned her passions into a full time career. Sarah is overjoyed to apply her skillset to assist Ryan and team in fueling a beautiful mission to feed and create opportunity for the community.
Co-director of Transportation/Deliveries
28 year old laborer and criminal justice student who grew up in Sayville. A long time friend of Ryan Carroll, Sage donates his time and effort to support this great cause and spread love to the community that raised him.
Director of Carroll's Cocktails
Michael is an alumni of the @theculinaryinstituteofamerica where him and Ryan studied together. He received his associates degree in culinary arts as well as his bachelor’s degree in Restaurant Management with a minor in Wines and Spirits. Since graduating he has been working as a restaurant manager and beverage director throughout some top restaurants in New York City.
Susan joined the team of Carroll's Kitchen after volunteering to peel apples for their Thanksgiving pies. She is a pediatric Occupational Therapist who has worked with children with disabities for 30 years. Susan has served on the executive teams of not-for-profit and for-profit companies and hopes to help Carrolls Kitchen secure funding and grants to continue their amazing mission.
Debbie Ravel CPA
A real estate professional with over 30 years of accounting, auditing and lease administration experience. Prior to launching DR Lease Consulting she enjoyed a successful career at Gap Inc. expanding the scope of their lease audit compliance program and decreasing occupancy costs. Since 1996 she has been a member of the National Retail Tenants Association, a real estate industry non for profit, and is currently serving on the Board of Governors as the association’s Vice President.
